Extended Bar Prep study sessions

Friday 6:30 – 8:30 PM

  • NLR Note: I have a 5:30 appointment in Green that predates selection of this time. The prompt will be posted in the ASP BrightSpace page (along with a Google Doc link). Zoom will open for the session as soon as one of you arrives. I will find an internet connection as close to 6:30 as possible, but start issue spotting until I get there!

These are essay-writing sessions designed primarily for those taking a bar exam in February or July – but anyone is welcome to drop in! They are a good way to enhance your essay-writing skills, to refresh substantive knowlege that is a distant memory, or get a sneak peek at subjects you haven’t taken yet.

Our LAW apparel sale has started! Below is the order form. We will collect orders in person at the Women in Law Lunch  Panel and virtually. Orders can be sent virtually to Emily Towers using VENMO (Emily-towers-1) and EMAIL (ect25@uakron.edu). All orders should go to Emily Towers.

BLS Associates Panel – Wednesday, November 3rd at 5:30P.M.

The Business Law Society is hosting a Corporate Associate Q&A Panel on Wednesday, November 3rd at 5:30 p.m. in Room 280. Four corporate associates from Cleveland law firms will be speaking and the discussion will focus on the transition from law school to the actual practice of law. Panelists will also talk about helpful tips on gaining employment and how to not only market yourself, but also how to stand out once you have obtained employment. Food will be provided.Â
