Overview: The Hoffman Firm Conquering Cancer Scholarship supports students who have personally faced cancer or have had an immediate family member affected by a cancer diagnosis. The scholarship provides $1,000 to assist an eligible student with post-secondary educational expenses.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must personally be fighting cancer, have previously fought cancer, or have an immediate family member who is currently or previously fought cancer.
- Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an undergraduate or graduate program within the United States.
- Must be at least 17 years old.
- Must be a citizen of the United States.
Application Requirements:
- Completed online scholarship application.
- Proof of enrollment at an accredited institution.
- An essay of approximately 750 words responding to the prompt: How would you characterize the way society talks about cancer survivors and cancer as a whole? Do you agree or disagree with how these stories are conveyed to the general public?
- Essay must be uploaded as a .docx or .pdf file.
- Applications must be submitted through the scholarship application page.
