Supreme Court Reporter Tony Mauro Luncheon Talk

Supreme Court Reporter Tony Mauro will be giving a luncheon talk on “Covering the Supreme Court” on Monday September 30th at noon in Room 151 [Moot Court Room].   All are invited and lunch will be served outside.

 

He also will be giving at talk that evening at 7:00 at the Akron-summit County Public Library – 60 S. High Street on “Affirmative Action: Now What” with a panel discussion to follow.

It’s VERY informal – come late, leave early; come one week, and not the next

 

BEGINNERS – NO NEED TO BRING ANYTHING – we’ll provide you with supplies to learn, as well as instruction!

Student Printer Changes

The printers have moved to a new print server and will require that you reinstall them.  Also some physical locations of the printers have changed:

  • Law 1 has been moved from the 2nd floor of the Law Library down to the student lounge area.
  • Law 3, which is the color printer, has been moved to the second floor across from the circulation desk.  Please note that this printer is currently not OSX compatible.  We are working on getting a printer that is compatible and will get it installed and operational as soon as possible.
  • Law 4, the printer outside room 301, has been upgraded to a larger capacity printer courtesy of Westlaw.

Summer II 2013 Download Dates

July 19th – July 31st

**As always there will be no excuses for claiming to be unaware of the download period because you are notified in the following ways:

  • Akron Law Announcements Blog
  • Various emails
  • Signs posted throughout the building
  • Digital signage TVs in the lunchroom and in the hallway leading to room 151
  • Professors announce the deadlines in class

You must download the exam files before the deadline ends or you will not be using Examsoft for your exams. If you have absolutely any problems, please contact law-support@uakron.edu before the deadline ends.
