The $1,000 scholarship is intended to help defray first-year expenses for students graduating from undergraduate school that have been accepted into an accredited law school anywhere in the United States. Levoritz Law Firm, a Family Law Firm in New York has just recently put together a scholarship opportunity.  You can find all the details of the scholarship here.

Our scholarship is called the Fisher Investments “Invest in Your Future” College Scholarship Program. The award has two deadlines each year: January 31st and June 30th. Each cycle, we award one talented student with a $5,000 scholarship.

• Applicants must be students pursuing a degree in a field which promotes financial literacy such as business, law, finance, accounting, or economics.
• The scholarship is open to students with backgrounds typically considered to be underrepresented in the fields of business & finance. Examples include, but are not limited to, women, racial minorities, LGBTQ persons, veterans, students with disabilities, and first-generation college students.
• To apply, students must complete our application and submit a 500-word essay describing their short and long-term financial goals and their plans to achieve these goals.
