Join us Tuesday, February 7 at 12:15 in room 160 at the School of Law for an Immigration Policy Discussion lead by Professor Elizabeth Knowles, Director of Akron Law’s Immigration & Human Rights Clinic.  If interest warrants a second discussion will be scheduled to allow students who attend in the evening to attend a discussion as well.

The Akron Law Admission Team will be hosting an information session on our Student Ambassador Program on Thursday, March 2, 2017. The session will be held in L141 and will begin at 12:30pm. This is a fantastic (and fun!) opportunity for those who love Akron Law and have an interest in engaging with prospective students. Participation in this Program is very relaxed, and it’s a wonderful way to earn community service hours and a great item to have on your résumé. Pizza will be provided. PAD will be holding two meetings on Thursday, February 2nd:

1. 12:30 – 1:30 at the law school in Room 161
2. 5:00 – 6:00 at Central Hower, Room 310B

The meetings are not for members only, they are general body meetings for current members as well as students interested in joining.  We will cover general information for interested students, initiation for any new members, this semester’s planning, and there will be food available!

If you are taking the February Bar Exam and haven’t yet written an MPT under exam settings – now is your chance!  Want one last practice – now is your chance!  If you are taking the bar sometime in the future and want to get a head start – now is your chance!

• Food & informal Q&A starts at 6:00 for the 6:30 PM workshop
• Please bring your computer (if you expect to take the exam using a computer)
