The Litigation Certificate Info Session will be Wednesday, October 12 at 5:15 p.m. in Law 160.

Our first meeting with be this Wednesday, October 12 in the law school building Room L-141 at 12:15 p.m.

We will be discussing potential and upcoming events and getting started on getting the ball rolling for MLSA!  We want to hear from everyone!  Also, we need to elect a 1L rep so 1L’s that are interested, please attend the meeting.  If you cannot make it , feel free to email, Samerra Allooh at sna36@zips.uakron.edu explaining your interest in being a 1L rep for MLSA and why.

Lunch will be provided.

SBA invites everyone to attend our annual Barrister’s Ball on Friday, October 21 from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. at The Tangier (532 W. Market St., Akron, OH 44303). Join us for one of the law school’s favorite traditions and enjoy heavy appetizers, a cash bar, photobooth (no extra charge), a live DJ, and plenty of fun.

Tickets will go on sale starting Monday October 10–keep your eyes on the Blog for further details! Ticket prices are exceptionally cheap this year at only $20 per person! All students, faculty, staff, and guests are welcome. Attire is semi-formal (ladies are generally in cocktail-style dresses, and slacks/jacket for the gentlemen). Akron Law Apparel Distribution!!

On October 11, October 12, and October 13 from 4:00-8:00 p.m., SBA will be distributing apparel to those who ordered it. Distribution will be in Central Hower 304.
