ASP Panel Discussion for Midterm Exam Study Strategies.
Join us on Monday, September 12 for a panel discussion about how best to prepare for midterms. Interim Co-Dean Sarah Cravens and Professor Pat Gaughan will be on hand to answer your questions and to offer insight about study strategies and what to expect on law school exams.
The panel discussion will be held on Monday, September 12 from 5:15 – 6:15 pm in Law 140.
Upper Division Scholarships – deadline to apply is September 16th!
Attention Upper Division Students:
With the fall semester upon us, I’d like to present you with an opportunity to apply for upper division scholarship assistance. During the 2015-16 academic year, approximately $225,000 was distributed to Akron Law students in upper division scholarships. These scholarships are made possible through the generosity of alumni and friends of Akron Law. Some scholarships are awarded to recognize high academic achievement, others are awarded on the basis of financial need, and others are distributed to students who have a particular area of interest or affiliation. The application and a complete listing of scholarships may be found online at www.uakron.edu/ud-scholarship. Please take a few moments to review all of the scholarship offerings that are available before completing your application. Applicants will be considered for all scholarships, but if you feel as though you are particularly qualified for any specific scholarships, please note that in your personal statement.
Scholarship assistance may not exceed the cost of tuition and fees. Upper division scholarships will be awarded during the fall semester and applied to spring semester tuition. December graduates should not apply. Only upper division law students are eligible to receive these scholarships. However, students who started law school in spring 2016 may apply, as awards will not be distributed until spring 2017.
