November 1st Deadline – February 2013 Ohio Bar Exam

Attention Students Graduating in December and/or Planning to Take The February 2013 Ohio Bar Examination:

The Deadline for the Supreme Court of Ohio Office of Admissions to receive your Application to Take the Bar Examination is November 1, 2012. 

A form required as part of the application packet is the Character Certificate, which must be processed by Law Student Services and signed by Assistant Dean Lauri Thorpe.

DO NOT DELAY!

Each form takes time to process.

Prof. Vacca and Prof. Cole Midterm download period

This is a reminder to students who are in Prof. Vacca’s Contracts or Prof. Cole’s Evidence class, you must download the latest version of Examsoft as well as your exam file before Sunday October 14th.  If you are having any problems or have any questions, please notify Law Technology Support as soon as possible.

Maximum Credits Permitted Per Single Semester

CORRECTION;

The ABA standards limit the maximum number of credits which may be earned in any single semester was incorrectly reported in the Spring 2013 Schedule of Classes as 18 credits.

The correct maximum number of credits which may be earned in a single semester 17 credits.  The credit calculation includes all graduate courses approved for law school credit, including those taken with a joint degree.

Spring 2013 Schedule Now Posted Online

The Spring 2013 Schedule, which includes registration information, add/drop dates, special course information, elective descriptions and Schedule Board layout for easy viewing of what your schedule may look like throughout the week, is now posted online at: http://www.uakron.edu/law/curriculum/registration.dot. 

Please make sure you read all of the information, including the endnotes on the schedule.  These contain special meeting dates and times, along with any needed prerequisites or scheduling instructions.
