Take advantage of an opportunity to get an early start on your bar study!  It has gotten more challenging to pass the bar exam recently.  You have busy lives – and more material has to be mastered in the same brief study period between graduation and the bar exam.

 

I have my ideas about what would be useful – but come tell me what would make it worth your while to spend some regular time with each other/me this fall, with the goal of making this winter a bit more manageable!

The Lexis Printer is in Transit to Central Hower

The Lexis printer is currently in transit to Central Hower, and is no longer available at the Law Center.  We will post a notice on this blog when the Lexis printer is up and running.  In the meantime, the library staff at Central Hower Room 322 will print out documents from Lexis for law students at no charge.  The library staff may, in its discretion, deny enormously excessive requests for printouts.

ASP Outlining Workshop

Your outline is the tool you use to connect what you do in class to what you do on an exam. Success on the exam is directly related to how well you have outlined the material. Join us in this workshop to get tips on how to start your outline, what to put in it, and how to use it to study for the exam.

The Outlining Workshop will be held on Monday, Sept. 19 from 5:15-6:15 in L 140.

International Law Society (ILS) – General Body Meeting

ILS’s first general body meeting will be Wednesday, September 21, 2016 in Room 140 of the new law building. There will be two sessions: 12:00 PM and 5:15 PM in the same room. Please let me know if you will be able to attend through the event invitation on Facebook (Akron Law – International Law Society (ILS)) or on Orgsync. 

Come meet the new officers, our advisor and find out about the calendar and the events planned for this Fall. This meeting also offers information to 1Ls that are interested in holding a leadership position in the organization. FOOD will be provided.
