Scholarship Amount: Up to $2,500 for law students; up to $1,500 for undergraduate students

Overview: The Allen County Bar Foundation Legal Opportunity Scholarship promotes equal access to the legal system by helping students with ties to Allen County, Indiana enter or continue law school and prepare to join the legal profession. Law students may receive up to $2,500 for law school tuition and fees, bar exam fees, or bar exam preparation. Undergraduate students may receive up to $1,500 for LSAT fees or LSAT preparation services.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be from Allen County, Indiana or intend to work in Allen County, Indiana.
• Must be planning to take the LSAT and apply to law school, preparing to enter law school, or enrolled in law school.
• Must demonstrate financial need.
• Must describe how the applicant supports or advances the idea of equal access to the legal system for all individuals.

Overview: Hoggatt Law Office, P.C. offers the Hoggatt Injury Law Children of Injured Workers Scholarship to support students whose parent has been affected by a work-related injury. • Must have a parent who has been affected by a work-related injury.
• Must be enrolled, or will be enrolled, in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited U.S. college or university.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a current cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.

Overview: Tomasik Kotin Kasserman, LLC offers the Path to Law Scholarship to support undergraduate students who are interested in pursuing a career in law. The scholarship is intended to help make a legal career more attainable for students who may face financial barriers. One selected recipient will receive a $2,000 award that may be used toward tuition, class materials, or other academic expenses.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be an undergraduate student with hopes of pursuing a career in law.
• Must have an annual household income that does not exceed $100,000.
• Must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Must be attending a college or university within the United States.
• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Must be a United States citizen.

Application Requirements:

• Submit a written response of 500 to 750 words to the scholarship essay prompt.
• Include citations from two reputable sources in the essay.
• Complete the digital application.
• Provide proof of enrollment.
• Provide proof of meeting the GPA requirement.

Overview: The Peacemaker Team Annual Scholarship Opportunity is designed to support students pursuing studies in law or related fields. One recipient will receive a $500 scholarship to assist with education-related expenses, including tuition, books, supplies, and living costs.

• Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States.

Overview: The Gold Law Firm Challenge Yourself Scholarship provides five scholarship awards each semester to first-time college freshmen within the United States. Established in memory of Kevin Maez, the scholarship is intended to support ambitious students who have worked to overcome challenges, build leadership skills, and pursue a brighter future.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Incoming first-time college freshman
• Planning to attend or already enrolled in an accredited college or university
• United States citizen or permanent resident
• At least 17 years of age at the time of application
• Participated in one or more qualifying activities during high school or childhood, including Scouts, acting/theatre, debate club, or speech

Application Requirements:

• Completed application form through the OVC Scholarship Network
• Essay of approximately 500 words responding to the scholarship prompt
• Essay should explain how participation in activities such as Scouts, acting, debate, and/or speech helped the applicant get through difficult periods, build leadership skills, or prepare for future success
• Essay must include at least one embedded image to assist with the applicant’s message
• Contact information
• Proof of enrollment for the upcoming semester, such as a class schedule, acceptance letter, or current transcript
• Documentation must be submitted in PDF or .docx format
